Runway

Runway is a creative platform for generating short videos from text or images and transforming existing footage with AI.

Primary purpose

Turn a scene idea into a clip with Gen-4.5, or guide background and object changes through a reference frame in Edit Studio. Evaluate each model’s output settings separately. The documented Gen-4.5 web scope is Standard and above; its 2–10 seconds, 720p and 24/25 fps settings are not limits for every model. API billing is separate; subscription credits are not API credit.

Limitations
